Our February Half Term Activities have been a big hit with children with record numbers in attendance. Everyone attending has had great fun and participated in a range of sports and activities from football to dance.

Our Christmas Holiday Camps are back on Monday 22nd December and Tuesday 23rd December 2025.

Christmas Food & Toy Appeal 2025
Launch of Our 2025 Food & Toy Christmas Appeal
At Wallsend Boys Club and Sporting Wallsend we have just launched our Christmas Food & Toy Appeal for 2025.
We are looking for donations of food and new toys for those at Christmas who may not receive anything.
If you are interest in helping please drop any gifts off at our Community Hub reception before Friday 19th December 2025.

Launch of Friday Night - Carrick's Kicks
New to Friday Nights
Wallsend Boys Club and Sporting Wallsend are holding a NEW activity on a Friday Evening called Carrick’s Kicks funded by the Michael Carrick Foundation. This session includes an hour of football on the 3G Astro Pitch with our coaches followed by games, X-Box and Pizza in the hub. Specifically for children aged 11yrs to 16yrs. Everyone is welcome to come and join in at the club.

The Busy School at Wallsend Boys Club
The Busy School Launch
The Busy School has partnered with Wallsend Boys Club to Launch The Busy School Wallsend. It is for young people aged 14-16 years who are at risk of disengaging from school, providing a more flexible approach to encourage them to stay in education. Special Visit from Northumbria Police & Crime Commissioner
Northumbria Police & Crime Commissioner Visits the Club
We had a special guest visit our Football Camp and Sports Camp this week. Susan Dungworth, was invited to the club and also our community hub to have a look at the positive impact the club has on the local area in offering great facilities and activities for all ages creating a safe and friendly environment. The Police and Crime Commissioner mentioned how important programmes like the holiday camps are in creating safe, positive spaces where young people can build confidence, make friends, and stay active during the school holidays. Also discussed the wider community offer, including outreach in local schools and year-round activities available for all ages.

Summer Camps Week 3 Completed
Week 3 of our Summer Camps Complete
This year our Summer Camps have been a big hit! Loads of fun and activities to choose from both indoors and outdoors. This week children have participated in a number of activities and sports including: Quick Cricket, Dance and Cheerleading, Team Games, Table Tennis, Football, Arts & Crafts, Xbox Fifa, Board Games, Dodgeball and more…

Beach Day and Summer Surfing 2025!
Beach Day and Surfing at Tynemouth Longsands
Some of the children attending our Summer Holiday Camps had the chance to go surfing with Tynemouth Surf Co at Tynemouth Longsands last week as part of our weekly activities. We offer a range of sports and activities to children attending our Summer Programme, last week included a beach day, playing beach cricket and games in the morning, followed by surfing lessons in the afternoon. Everyone had great fun! We still have spaces on our camps, so get in touch.

Our Summer Camps Off to a Great Start!
Our first week of holiday camps have been successful, offering children fun activities, football, games, sports, dance, arts & crafts. Our busy camps allow children to make new friends, socialise and learn new skills. We have two choices our popular Football Camp but also our Multi-Sports Camp for those who necessarily do not want to join in with football. Everyone has had a great time and there is still opportunity to book onto our camps for Week 2, 3 and 4.
